How we collect these prices
Prices come directly from shops' own websites. Each amount must appear word for word beside the repair and any named device or model. “Call for price” does not count. The source page address and the date it was read stay with each price.
Labor-only prices are left out when parts cost extra. Each shop counts once per repair, using its starting and highest posted prices. The middle starting price is the typical price. A business with several listings but a shared price list counts once.
A repair needs posted prices from at least 5 different shops before figures appear. Prices older than 180 days are dropped, and shop websites are read again every month.
Posted amounts are not quotes. The final cost depends on your model, the part and the shop, and prices can change, so call to confirm. These pages do not name or rank shops or carry paid placements. Follow each repair's directory link, where available, to find shops.
